Misfit Thanksgiving is a chance for folks to experience everything they LOVE about the holiday without all the complications that sometimes come with different family dynamics. It’s also a great opportunity for those without close friends or family to be in community with other people while enjoying some delicious grub. And it’s a fun time for everyone to enjoy a little camaraderie without alcohol, drugs, or endless political debate (no creepy uncles with big opinions aloud).

As part of your “ticket” you’ll be invited to our At The Roots LLC dining room with mismatched tableware, folding chairs, and endless warmth and acceptance. You’ll have the opportunity to laugh, share your story, and partake in some delicious food potluck style. Essentially you’ll get all the benefits of a down-home Thanksgiving without all the awkwardness and clock watching. And if time allows, we’ll break out the board games, relax on the sofa, and have a warm cup of coffee together after dessert.

At The Roots LLC will provide turkey, gravy, and a variety of different non-alcoholic beverage options. Anyone who registers will be asked to sign up to bring a dish to pass.

Space is limited to 10 people in order to keep the event intimate and cozy.

Masks will not be required for vaccinated folks.
