Speed Puzzling Night: Practice + Competition
If you love a little strategy and a little competition - you're going to LOVE Speed Puzzling!
New to this? Here's the gist: Speed puzzling pairs teams of two with identical puzzles and a shared goal - finish first. It’s part pattern recognition, part communication, and a lot about how well you work together under a little pressure.
This is open to beginners. We’ll start with a low-pressure practice session so you can get a feel for it before the competition begins.
6:00 PM – Intro to Speed Puzzling (Open Practice)
This is not a scored round - just a chance to get familiar with speed puzzling, try out strategies, and get a feel for the pace. Come solo or with your teammate, ask questions, and warm up before the competition.
7:00 PM – Pairs Competition
$50 per team (2 people)
Limited to 8 teams (16+ and all pairs must include an adult)
500-piece puzzle
2-hour time cap
How it works:
Fastest team to complete their puzzle wins
If time runs out, the team with the fewest loose pieces wins
Tie? 5-minute sudden death round
AND YES - YOU GET TO KEEP THE PUZZLE! :D
If you’d like to drop in for the practice to learn more, you’re more than welcome and DO NOT need to register. Competitive pairs must register ahead of time - space is limited.
