Elections and Political Conflict: Nonviolent Communication and De-Escalation Skills

Join us for this FREE virtual training with the DC Peace Team!

This training will address these situations by providing non-violent or compassionate communication skills to engage in difficult conversations around political issues and the upcoming elections. It will also provide de-escalation skills to re-humanize, shift the energy, and increase safety in any hostile situations that might arise related to these issues.

The DC Peace Team is a Washington DC-based non-profit that works with communities around the world to help them discover and embrace the practice of nonviolence and restorative justice through Unarmed Civilian Protection (UCP) and Accompaniment, networking opportunities, and collaborative projects. At The Roots LLC is covering the cost of this training for Eau Claire County residents but donations to the DC Peace Team are encouraged for those who are able to give and/or for those who want to attend but are not Eau Claire County residents.
