Sometimes the right kind of help doesn’t depend on paperwork, waitlists, or insurance approvals.
It depends on being heard, understood, and met with honesty.

What This Is

Private pay sessions are similar to the support we offer through other programs - real conversations, real people, and space to figure things out - but they’re available to anyone, no referral or program enrollment required.

You can schedule directly with one of our peers, pick a time that works for you, and pay online.

No referral. No forms. Just support when you need it.

Peer Support Might be a good fit for you if:

  • You need a different kind of support - one rooted in shared experience, not treatment plans

  • You’re trying to stay steady while life keeps throwing curveballs

  • You want to build confidence, routines, or structure with someone in your corner

  • You feel stuck and could use someone to help you think things through

  • You want accountability that feels supportive, not judgmental

  • You’ve been doing okay but just need a place to check in and stay grounded

Peer support isn’t a replacement for therapy - it’s a different kind of help, grounded in shared experience instead of treatment. Some people use it alongside therapy to stay connected and put ideas into practice between sessions. For others, it’s all they need. And sometimes, people start with peer support and later add or transition into therapy. Not every type or combination of support works for everyone, and that’s okay - part of recovery and wellness is figuring out what fits best for you.

How It Works

  1. Choose a provider below - each peer has their own focus areas and approach.

  2. Book your session using the orange button.

  3. Pay online at the time of scheduling.

  4. Show up as yourself. That’s it.

Sessions can be in-person or virtual, depending on your provider.
If you’re not sure who to choose, just send us an email at info@attherootsllc.com and we’ll help you find a good match.

Meet Our Peer Support Providers

Each member of our team brings a mix of lived experience, training, and perspective to the work we do. Some have walked the path of recovery, some through loss or major life transitions, and others through trauma, healing, and complicated relationships, all of which have shaped the way they show up for others. Together, we bring a wide range of experiences and a shared belief that people heal best in connection.
