Youth Connection Specialist
Accepting applications until August 16th, 2024
The Youth Connection Specialist with At The Roots LLC is a direct support position working with youth in our service area. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys when no two days are the same and who has a deep passion for helping youth between the ages of 10-19 to build emotional, social, and daily living skills that will help them be successful in school, the community, and in the future. This position requires an open mind, resiliency, enthusiasm, and a great sense of humor.
The ideal candidate will be a deeply curious and FUN individual who feels just as comfortable in a school setting as they do on a basketball court. They’re naturally able to balance compassionate care for others while maintaining healthy boundaries and it’s impossible to feel left out when this person is around – no matter who you are. There’s probably nothing they love more than hearing someone’s story and experiencing new things.
Our Youth Connection Specialist will be paid between $18-$22 an hour depending on experience. This position requires a flexible schedule with typical hours being between 12pm-8pm Monday through Friday. However, there may be times when a meeting or training session requires an earlier start time. This position is expected to work between 15-20 hours per week but could grow into more hours for the right candidate.
