Body image is complicated. This class makes talking about it a little less awkward.
The Body Project is an interactive, evidence-based program developed by the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) to help teens push back on unrealistic beauty standards and all the pressure that comes with them.
We’ll meet for two evenings together:
Thursday, September 10 from 5–7 PM
Monday, September 14 from 5–7 PM
LOCATION: Carnegie Meeting Room at the L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library in Eau Claire
AGES: 13-16
Because the two sessions build on each other, we ask participants to plan to come to both.
We’ll talk about social media, appearance expectations, confidence, and how to challenge the idea that there’s one “right” way to look - while having fun and winning prizes along the way.
This class is offered FREE for Eau Claire County residents and students but advanced registration is required
