Hi, I’m Karina (she/her). I’ve always known I wanted to spend my life helping others, and my studies in psychology at UW–Stout are one way I’m building on that passion. For me, peer support is about meeting people with openness and care - making sure they feel genuinely seen and accepted for who they are.

I’m a pretty down-to-earth person, and I think that helps me connect with others in a real way. I value listening without judgment and creating space where people can share what’s on their mind without having to filter themselves. I believe we all have something unique to offer, and sometimes it just takes the right connection to help that shine through.

Outside of work and school, I’m happiest when I’m doing something creative or spending time with the people and animals I love. I play guitar, make art, and enjoy those simple moments - laughing with friends, catching up over lunch, or curling up with a pet. These things keep me grounded and remind me why community matters so much.

I’m excited to be part of a space where people can support one another, explore new possibilities, and feel less alone in whatever they’re facing. Everyone’s path is different, and I’m honored to be someone who can walk alongside others as they figure out theirs.
