Healthy Teens Summer Program

Our Healthy Teens Summer Classes will be week-long (3 hours a day for 5 days) sessions for Eau Claire County teens who could benefit from a supportive environment to enhance their social skills, learn about healthy ways of living, and have fun while just being themselves!

During each week-long class, teens will explore topics such as:

  • Mental health

  • The dangers of misusing alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs

  • Strategies for healthy living

  • Healthy coping skills development

  • Relationship building and social skills

  • Self-Care and Acceptance

  • Emotional Regulation

  • Giving back to the community

Participants will also have time to kick back, relax, and have fun, unstructured time with their peers to practice social skills and independence with support from peer mentors or specialists.

These classes are brought to you FREE as part of a partnership between the Eau Claire City-County Health Department and At The Roots LLC.
