The Green House

  • At The Roots LLC 800 Wisconsin Street BLDG D02 SUITE 301 Eau Claire United States (map)

The Green House is a free summer hangout for teens ages 13–15 who want something fun to do, people to do it with, and a place where they can show up as themselves.

We call it The Green House because green is the color of growth, fresh starts, and things still becoming what they’re meant to be. This group is a place for teens to try new things, meet new people, and grow at their own pace.

Each week (Wednesdays from 2-3:30) will include a mix of games, creative projects, group challenges, and low-pressure activities designed to help teens connect, laugh, and build friendships without it feeling forced.

Led by experienced mentors, The Green House is a welcoming space to get out of the house, have fun, and be part of something that feels easy, real, and supportive.

Registration is required so we can plan for space, supplies, and staffing, but the group is 100% free to attend.

The Green House runs for 7 weeks, and teens can sign up for all of them or just the dates that fit their summer schedule. But teens who attend at least 5 of the 7 sessions will be celebrated with a special recognition at the end of the summer.
