Burnout is not a badge of honor - virtual lunch & Learn

  • At The Roots LLC 800 Wisconsin Street BLDG D02 SUITE 301 Eau Claire United States (map)

We have presented Burnout Is Not a Badge of Honor to organizations across Wisconsin, and it has quickly become one of our most requested trainings. Now, we're making it available to everyone through an online Lunch & Learn.

Burnout doesn't usually announce itself. It shows up as responsibility. It's the voice that says, "I'll rest when things calm down," "They need me," or "This is what I signed up for."

If you've ever been the person everyone counts on, the one holding things together at work, at home, or in your community, this session is for you.

Together, we'll explore:

- What burnout actually is (and what it isn't)
- Why common advice like "practice self-care" and "just set better boundaries" often misses the mark
- Practical ways to set healthier boundaries around your time, scope, and support
- A simple framework you can use to reduce burnout before it reaches a breaking point

This isn't about becoming more productive or learning to tolerate unhealthy expectations. It's about recognizing burnout for what it is and walking away with practical tools to protect your mental health while continuing to do work that matters.

Bring your lunch, log in from wherever you are, and join us for a conversation that is honest, practical, and probably a little different from the burnout trainings you've seen before.

The presentation will last approximately 60 minutes, followed by an optional 30-minute discussion and Q&A for those who would like to stay.
