Exploring the Unseen: An Evening of Spirits, Intuition & Paranormal Investigation
Join us for a special evening with Audrey Van Wey, RN, Psychic Intuitive & Medium - a longtime local practitioner, teacher, and paranormal investigator who has been working professionally in psychic intuition and mediumship since 2009.
Audrey’s work reaches well beyond paranormal investigation. She is a psychic intuitive and medium, Reiki Master Teacher, medical intuitive, and educator; she founded the Audrey Van Wey Academy of Psychic Development & Energy Medicine as well as the paranormal investigation group Spirit Investigations Tracking & Encounters (SITE).

Audrey will share with us her experience and knowledge of the spirit world, ghosts, intuition, and what she has learned about the paranormal through years of working as a medium and paranormal investigator. She’ll share stories and experiences from her work, introduce some of the equipment used during investigations, explain what different tools are intended to detect or measure, and leave plenty of room for questions and conversation.
The At The Roots Soda Lab will be open to participants, including a special spooky-themed drinks available for purchase.
As a special bonus, we’ll get a chance to take some of that learning into the building itself. Banbury doesn’t regularly allow groups to conduct paranormal investigations, but we’ve been given permission to explore select common areas with Audrey.
You’ll be able to see some of the equipment in use, try a few investigative techniques, and experience what a paranormal investigation actually feels like in a building with a long history and plenty of stories attached to it.
The base $35 ticket price helps cover the cost of the event itself, including the presenter, staffing, planning, marketing, and other related expenses.
In addition to being possibly the coolest thing you might do in October, the night has another purpose: helping get C.R.O.W.S. off the ground.
C.R.O.W.S. (Community Requires Our Willingness to Show Up, Inc.) is a new Chippewa Valley nonprofit being built to create space for connection, collaboration, community problem-solving, and projects that might not otherwise have a place to happen. Right now, that means covering all of the very unexciting but necessary startup costs that come with turning an idea into an actual organization.
A donation is not required to attend, but because raising funds for C.R.O.W.S. is the purpose behind this event, we do ask that those who are able consider a donation of $25 or more per ticket., though any amount helps and is deeply appreciated.
Any donation to C.R.O.W.S. would be in addition to the ticket price. Donations can be added on when you purchase your ticket, through a link you’ll receive by email, or can be made in person at the event.
The Soda Lab will also be open for the evening, with 100% of drink sales going to C.R.O.W.S. At The Roots LLC is donating the supplies, so every dollar from the Soda Lab will go directly toward helping get C.R.O.W.S. off the ground.
